6 Hour timeout

Featured Replies

It has just been brought to my attention that Runescape 2007 now has a 6 hour timeout if you are logged in for 6 hours it will log you out instantly, no connection lost just out, The client does not detect this and scripts will break because of it, you can just log back in instantly so can the client please detect that?

Not 100% true. I've gotten a 103 hour proggy and multiple 8 hours.

I heard something like that from today's Q & A by jagex...thought they said it was going to happen...ithey said you can't stay logged in more than 7 hours it will automaticly log you out,but i dont think they have made this update yet...and later there going to make an update if someone talks to you ingame and you don't answer within 5 mins clients going to log you out, not to sure how this one will work tho.

My scripts got messed up after the 6 hour mark this morning, though I wasn't there to witness anything.

Wait, is this something that just got released this patch?

This has been out for over a week and I though swizzbeat screwed up but then common sense kicked in it's like eoc except after logged out nothing makes you refresh the page. So please osbot make it activate the random.

The client does detect this and instantly logs it back in.  I've personally witnessed it myself many times.  I thought I was banned b/c 1/10 accts dced, but instead it just logged right back in without any issues at all.  If for some weird reason it isn't logging you back in any easy solution to this would be to add break, even if there real quick it will prevent this from happening.
