Question about RAM

Featured Replies

So if I wanted to run 3-5 bots (nothing else than bot on) how much my ram should be? rolleyes.gif

What are you planning on running these bots on?your desktop/laptop or vps? what are your ram/processor/system type currently you can check this out by right clicking on my computer and clicking properties. we'll let you know how many bots it can handle.

or download speccy. but yes listen to what he said ^ above

I have a good processor and I would use my own desktop for those bots.

I just need to know how much one bot takes an average of ram. happy.png

4gb would be enough to run 5, i would recommend 8gb personally in case you want to do other things or run more bots. Average mem useage is like 300mb.

Thanks for fast answer! happy.png

1 OSBot instance eats 270mb if you put this

javaw -Xmx256m -Xss2m -Xms32m -XX:MaxPermSize=256m -jar osbot_1.7.1.jar

i have tried hundreds of other jvm options but it seems they do not really affect osbot as it should in fact, no offense to devs but my guess is that the code optimization is quite poor as without these options ram spikes upto 1 gb per instance

oh btw its for 64 bit, on 32 bit its about 180mb but cpu utilization is by 1/3 more
