What does anti - ban really do? and how does it help

Featured Replies

hey guys, I'm still pretty new to Oldschool booting and I'm wondering what anti ban really does? if someone could just sum it up for me that would be great! and how do you know if a script has it or not?

Another question being, Does it really keep you from getting banned?

It's a Bots way of acting more human and not screwing up to rise less attention.

the anti ban is like randoms and when it moves mouse randomly around to look at current xp and stuff. its built into bot i think??

Pretty much doing things that a normal player would do while training.

Hovering the mouse around the screen, right clicking to stay logged in, rotating the camera randomly, checking stats, equipment, etc.; also some writers think it's a good idea to type something into chat or clan chat every so often, though personally I feel as if it's just asking for attention to your character, and the last thing you want while botting is attention.

Also rather than imitating the exact same mouse clicks over and over, they add variety as bots are known to be perfectionists in a continuous cycle.

anti ban is just the movements and speed of the bot, anything that makes it less bot like is considered anti ban

I don't know if anyone else said it - didn't read above - but it basically does random actions such as moving the camera or changing tabs or looking at items, just typical random stuff you normally do while waiting for something to happen (wcing anf waiting for inv to fill, for example).

What this does it make it seem like you're a human rather than a bot so we can try to trick/fool the Jagex bot detection system into believing that were human and not a bot. Just a safety precaution added into scripts.
