SO MANY PLAYERS ON! :O

Featured Replies

Really? In 2007 there was 138 servers. If all of them were full (they never were) it would make 276k people online. Usually the first 8 worlds were full + some minigame specific servers (castle wars, pest control). If you are talking about earlier years (2001-2006), they had even fewer servers which means even lesser possible amount of concurrent users online.

Rather be realistic than over-nostalgic.

No it wasn't, theres 78 servers in osrs and if all of them were full, there would have been 156k online (which never happened in osrs)

The first day of osrs, concurrent players were about 60k-75k

Seriously, whats up with this kind of people making up so flawed statistics, that they arent even logically possible?

At least think before making up those 200k, 350k, 500k+ numbers out of your head.

Also, I have to mention that back then jagex had way inferior anti-bot system than what they have now. It wasn't a surprise if you could bot for a few years straight without getting banned (which I did in 2010-2011, botted whole 2 years about 10 hours a day, gathered about 340 days botted playing time on my main according to adventurer's log). Nowadays that would be unheard of.

But dont get me wrong, obviously rs was more popular back then but not by that much what couple of you have been saying.

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw come on i miss typed that 100k* clam your tits..

You must be new to Runescape.

I have vet cape on rs tho.

But seriously, when has RuneScape ever had 250+ completely full servers to support this ridiculous 500k mark you claim.
