Explanation: I bought an account from ExtremeAccounts for 12m 07GP and after 3 days now, it got locked. I messaged him to help me get it unlocked and he helped me fill the recover form but it got denied. The info in it wasn't correct and he took really long time to answer my questions. I asked him if he could refund me but he didn't accept so I'm opening a dispute to either make him refund me or ban him please.

I am not the original owner. Never stated it either, is not my faulth it got locked/recovered.

As far as I understood, you bought an account from Extremeaccounts. Done. Sold, over. Three days later, JAGEX locks the account that has been sold to you. This is not Extremeaccount's fault, therefore he doesn't owe you anything.

 

However, him saying that he is not the original owner, when in fact he gives you details on how the account was created, where the account was created, whether he moved or not etc via your images, obviously gives you the assumption that he in fact is the original owner.

 

Now with that being said, it is not against the rules for ExtremeAccount to NOT unlock the account.

It IS against the rules for ExtremeAccount to RECOVER the account.

 

I highly advise that you recover the account ExtremeAccount and give it back to avoid complications such as these.

 

If you witness some time in the future, that the status of your account changes from "Locked account, please do recovery blah blah" to "Incorrect Username/Password", this means that he has recovered the account and scammed you, therefore you may post a dispute against him and he will be banned. Please monitor this regularly if you wish to conduct anything further.

 

However in the mean time, there is nothing that can be done against him as he has done nothing wrong rule wise.

 

 

 

Extremeaccounts, I am disappointed that after my warning on your thread you did not update your thread but continued to sell your account, if I witness an incorrect thread from you that doesn't meet the correct criteria for selling accounts (So that issues like this doesn't happen), then there will be further punishment.

I got the information when I bought the account : /, gave him them but got denied. Maybe it's jagex noticing that there is something wrong. It doesn't make me the original owner.

If you can provide evidence of your statement then we can say you are not the original owner.. But you giving out all the information as to how the account was made, where you lived and if you have moved house, we can only assume you are.

The owner told me this, but not his ISP, so took mine since ive had it more : /, were from the same town so yeah... The account info i gave is correct.

Seeming as you can provide no evidence as to previous owners, the following will happen:

 

You will receive no infraction from this current dispute as this isn't a valid dispute.

 

You will however receive a ban if the account is to be recovered in the future as you cannot validate your claim not being the original owner. That is, if the OP will monitor the account and posts a dispute.
