OSbot loses connection, CPU fan gets really loud

Featured Replies

So yeah, OSbot loses connection every now and then for me. When it does this it says 'failed connect to remote server' and will keep attempting to reconnect. While this happens my CPU fan gets so loud and fast that I actually feel the vibration of it spinning through my desk. This is often how I notice it as I have headphones on most of the time.

My computer is not terrible and easily handles 3 bots running at the same and I'm sure it could handle more if I wanted. The only time there is problems is when OSbot loses connection.

Why is this? Is there a way to prevent it?

Thanks.

Sounds like you need to dust out your cpu fan or get a whole new motherboard  + processor to handle multiple bots at once. What CPU do you have?

i have 128mb of ram and a 1ghz pentium processor. I can push out about 2 bots at the same time with some lagg..

What the hell i got an old laptop who runs 3 bots easy LOL

i was trolling about my 128mb ram and 1ghz single core processor..lolzolozlozlolzolzolzolzzz

Thanks for the replies guys, like I said in the original post my computer EASILY handles 3 bots and is pretty much silent. It only makes noise when OSbot loses connection which is every now and then, once it regains connection after a minute or two it goes really quiet again. I clean out my tower once every couple of weeks with the last time being a week ago so it surely can't be dust causing the problem.

No clue man, just maybe the computers fan is shit and just gets real loud.

can you avoid it? no you can't it's the ''5sec retrying to connect'' what makes you lagg at that moment you gotta realise it trys to reconnect 3 bots...  just a matter of time waiting to let it re-connect

It doesn't actually lag, everything runs smooth just...loud. Anyway though that answer is good enough for me. I guess like you said its trying to reconnect 3 bots at the same time must just make the computer work hard. *shrug*
