Good Webhosting?

Featured Replies

What's a good webhosting provider with fair price?

I am looking for something that isn't too expensive, has near 100% uptime (like 99.9999%), has been around for at least 3 years with quality service and feedback, and isn't owned by some kid (only real companies with an actual office lol).

I'd agree, they're brilliant in most cases.

Don't listen to most of these people, they're crazy (hostgator is a joke).

Check out CrocWeb, HawkHost, or Eleven2.

They have great service and well priced.

There are also many coupons for all of them :)

I've heard of HawkHost, but heard good things about them, but they are fairly new and owned by someone from some other forums, which makes we worry whether it is worth using or not.

I love them, I've been hosting one of my sites (~250k views a month) with them and there's hardly any downtime (I don't think I've ever seen it :o) for almost 2 years now.

Is that actually good? If so, why?

DreamHost is one of the best hosts out there, they offer you a lot bang for your buck. As far as I know you have unlimited b/w and upload, you can host several domains on one account, and they're good overall. I'd definitely go for DreamHost.

Thanks, I'll give them a look.
