January 12, 201412 yr So I started botting on my laptop. My question is... Is it dangerous? (for my laptop) if you do how long do you usually bot for? any tips/ suggestions are welcome thanks.
January 12, 201412 yr Botting on a laptop is no different to botting on a Desktop. Just USUALLY means you can't run as many bots.As for asking if it's "Dangerous"...No.
January 12, 201412 yr No, botting on a laptop isn't dangerous at all :P Of course since the airflow is not nearly as good as a desktop, it will run hotter after a while and the fans will probably start spinning faster than under "normal load", but it's not going to damage it. These components are made to run, my PC is on 24/7, gaming during the day, folding during the night, and so far no problem in a little over 2 years. ;)
January 12, 201412 yr depends what comp...burnt out my last computer, thats because it had a bad cooler tho
January 12, 201412 yr Try to set your fan at max speed when botting overnight. And don't go max out with botting windows. If you just bot on 1 account then you'll be fine.

January 14, 201412 yr Eventually after many hours and alot of airflow blocking from dirt and other stuff from having your computer on while botting your computer will sound like this (second 8): http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=HXKOsajNZY4#t=8 Edited January 14, 201412 yr by Fay
January 15, 201412 yr Warning: your life is in danger, do not bot on a laptop!OT: Just kidding. You can bot on a laptop (i did it for half a year), but, as i know from my experience, it will make a lot of noise when running more than 2-3 bots (depending on your laptop CPU & RAM). I have chosen to buy a VPS to save my laptop from overheating while running it at night. I bought one for $10 and now i can run my bots 24/7, and my laptop can be shut down. I can recommand you one if you would like, just PM me.. Edited January 15, 201412 yr by Matrix
January 15, 201412 yr Why would you thinks it less safe then a tower? Not from a Runescape safety standpoint but a hardware such as overheating or burning out his battery.
