Featured Replies

hey, my bot has a bit of a  bug and was wondering if anybody knows a solution. when my bot is running, un attended / not babysitted the osbot program closes after an hour every single time. i can therefore not bot throughout the night or even if i got out for like 40mins-1hour the application will be closed. does anybody know a way around this?

Run OSBot using command prompt the next time you decide to bot.

Copy this code into notepad and save it as run.bat (make sure this file is in the same directory as OSBot and also make sure your OSBot client is renamed to OSBot.jar). Double-click the batch file to run OSBot.

@echo off
java -jar OSBot.jar
pause

The next time your bot randomly closes, the command prompt window should still be open and you will be able to see the error log. If you find this log, copy and paste the log here on the thread and we'll see what problem you are having.

Okay I will help you with this. On your desktop create a folder name OSBot. In the folder place the OSBot.jar client. Rename it to OSBot.jar already if you haven't. Then you need to create or edit your current batch so that the name of your jar is the same one as in the batch file.

If you need any directions I have made a big arrow as you will probably see :). If you need any help reply or PM me.

If you haven't set your java classpath variables, you would have to use the following code (adjust the directory to suit your computer):

@echo off
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jdk1.7.0_45\bin\java.exe" -jar OSBot.jar
pause

or

@echo off
"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java.exe" -jar OSBot.jar
pause

He shouldn't be having these problems. If he is having them he needs to update his java.

No. If he hasn't set his environmental variables correctly, he cannot use the "java" command.

If none of these work, then it could most likely be CPU related.

This can be a number of issues:

1) Your client can close due to a leak in your CPU/Memory thus causing your computer to overload and force close the client.

2) Your connection is having difficulties connecting to the server in which you leave your PC, get logged out and then after 5 minutes the client auto shuts down if you are not logged in.

3) Your connection is having difficulties stabilizing and continues to disconnect/connect to the server, in which you go online/offline constantly, after a certain period of these events, the client automatically closes.

4) The server itself is having trouble stabilising and is either under a DDoS attack in which you cannot connect to the server and the above happens.

If you're still receiving these Errors/Bugs please PM me or another staff member.
