At the fishing guild I happened to get a River troll and the response was from my character was to run clear out of the guild! This left him unable to get back in. 

 

It really shouldn't even run that far away, let alone leave the guild. 

The guild's a pretty small spot so most run away from combat handlers won't work. Try messaging the scripter to add in a specific combat handler for the guild.
