Client doesn't open - Client isn't injected error

Featured Replies

First time using OSBot, I have the latest java and everything. I'm running on linux ubuntu. It opens fine, I log in but when I try to press the green + or the play button nothing happens.

edit: just spent about 2 hours uninstalling, installing JDK7 again. Now I don't get the injected error, but it still doesn't start.

nevermind, still get client is not injected error. If anybody wants to teamview me and help, i would appreciate it.

Also, is there any way to make the whole client a little smaller? it doesn't fit on this tiny netbook screen.

Restart the client, if that fails try deleting the OSBot data folder (computer/users/youruser/OSBot/data. If this doesn't work delete the client and re-download

Many people have this problem, and to our disappointment, we don't really know why. You can make the little box under the client go away by clicking the little prompt looking box at the top.

Damn, I've tried all of it and still nothing.

I had this yesterday, Troy helped me.

Delete every single thing from OsBot, download newest Java version and redownload OsBot.

Can you run it in command line and report the results?

The command should be something like "java -jar osbot.jar".

administrator@administrator-laptop:~$ java -jar osbot.jar
Error: Unable to access jarfile osbot.jar

administrator@administrator-laptop:~$ java -jar osbot.jar
Error: Unable to access jarfile osbot.jar

Well, you're going to have to change the command to where the .jar is located. So do "cd ________" (fill in spaces with the location of the folder that contains .jar)

the osbot folder with data and scripts or the like osbot 1.15.12.jar or something? i type in: cd home administrator osbot but it doesn't give me anything. Can you teamview me?

Save osbot 1.15.xx to your desktop

Rename to "osbot"

Add the following in notepad and save as .bat to your desktop

@echo off

java -jar osbot.jar

First of all, open terminal and cd into the directory your osbot.jar resides,

execute chmod 777 osbot.jar

Try if it is working now, if not:

If you are using OpenJDK instead of Sun (oracle) java? I've had numerous cases where my java programs would not run under OpenJDK due to minimal differences .. Try unistalling OpenJDK and install Java from java.com, I'm almost certain this will fix your problem

However, if you are already running Java on your linux box, try downloading the latest and packing it yourself (remove any older versions first.):

Download the tar.gz archive from java first

Open terminal

cd /home/YOURUSERNAME/Downloads

apt-get install java-package fakeroot

fakeroot make-jpkg jdk-7*

dpkg -i oracle-j2sdk1*

If all else fails (make sure you've done the above steps), add me on skype: marcinsleziak, we'll figure out something together ^.^

Regards
