You can download the trial for 30 days aswell before buying

Its basically the same thing as CS6 but has some little minor updates. It is basically for more vector based design such as logo design. In Illustrator you can resize anything as much as you want without actually blurring it like photoshop. Hope this helped!

I like CC's, I got Photoshop and Illustrator CC so. They work very good for me.

CC is great i would definately reccomend getting it
