I've noticed that bots get caught way too easy, especially in 2013, compared to a couple of years ago, a few years back, I botted 3-5 accounts daily @ chickens, I was on a roll to see how many feathers I could get before all the accounts got banned, I botted literally 24/7, I left my laptop on hours on end, days on end infact, and legitly, I botted easily 2-3 weeks, 20+ hours daily, on each account, and I never once recieved ONE ban, I was really suprised, I gained so much money and levels, (remember these accounts were around 50-80 combat level, that's why I was botting chickens.)

 

Recently botted agility for a few hours each day for some quests, then I decided to go hardcore and bot my str level, I gained 82-87 strength levels until I was banned today, the bot was a "pro" bot, it had a great antiban, did all the stuff correctly, I could do 6 hours of botting without the bot failing once, it was literally a flawless bot. I was quite proud that I hadn't got banned yet, I've botted probably what, 20-30 hours in the past 2-4 days. (Around the 3 day mark.) I literally just logged in, to get DC'd like 3 seconds later, I knew I was banned instantly, wasn't surprised. So it doesn't really bother me, so should I make a level 3, add membership onto, and bot something, and should I change my IP and use a VPN so I can't get tracked, it would be easier for me to bot then, yet again, (i have like 3-4 other accounts, skillers/def pures, that I could bot for money on.) Also, I haven't botted on another accounts, this is my main and ONLY current account, I also do not use VPN's. Also had BREAKS on, regular as well.

 

PS: most of the time I was at my computer, (also speaking to players who were there as well, so it wasn't like I completely hardcore botted).

I think its more about your luck just. Like if you are getting banned, no matter what how flawless your bot has been.

But one thing is sure in 2009-2011 i botted many great accounts and none of them was not banned.

3 weeks ago i made an account, i botted only strength (obby pure).

 

i managed to get 1-89strength, no breaks only straight macroing. got banned on my way to 90 strength, sad.

mine was also a 2 day ban, i usually surrend on accounts when they get the first ban since i put time on the account anymore since i can get a perm whenever .. pretty annoying.

Its not luck, its breaks.

This my current one, I started it right after the update yesterday. And I had been botting for 5 days prior to that as well, thats the 120 hour progress report.

It's just many people bot in same places. So it's easy it to be spotted.

Jagex also had a huge scope of players to watch over a few years ago, they were busy with a huge number of people rather than the smaller number that exist today... Numbers are declining and they're more easily able to weed out the bots.
