Jin Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 (edited) Members should have the deleting our own posts ticked. We're bound to make mistakes like doubling posting or unnecessary negative criticism towards others. We are able to modified our posts, why not let us delete them as well? Moderator move this thread to: http://osbot.org/forum/index.php?/forum/57-suggestions/ Edited April 4, 2013 by Jin
Naruto Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I agree with this, the ability to delete your own topics / posts. However it should require a verification by a moderator, if not people could, for example, say something racist then delete the post. At the same time I am unaware of the strain this could but on the OSBOT team, and in the end my say doesn't really matter. Or does it?

Moderator move this thread to: http://osbot.org/forum/index.php?/forum/57-suggestions/ I don't agree, only because it could hide something that we should see. Maybe you guys should be able to "Hide". Which is a soft delete, and just hides it from the community, while moderators can still see it. 1
XXIAR Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I agree with Kyle, what reason should a regular member have to delete their own posts. Moderator's are active and fully able to do so if need be. Although hiding your post seems fair to me

Allen Posted April 4, 2013 Posted April 4, 2013 I support the soft delete, I agree with Kyle concerning the full delete.
