I am curious if the slayer staff is worth it, I believe it would be but i feel like 55 slayer is going to be crazy time consuming.. Does anyone have any advice and/or a guide on a quick and easy way to get 55 slayer on a new obby maul pure? My levels are only 20 range and thats it for now lol literally just made the account

Just maul your slayer tasks. Shouldn't be too hard.

Quick easy way use AIO Fighter while in slayer + babysit till 55 slayer.

if you want my advice after making around 10 obby accounts since 2008 or so, heres what I would do:

 

if your trying to keep it 1 defence for a pure obby mauler, get your str to 60 first of all and get an obby and zerker neck. You can start trying to do slayer whenever you feel comfortable or have time to waste. If you don't really wana spend a lot of time trying to do slayer, what I would do, is get a decent sized bank, and buy a cannon, and around 10k cannonballs to start with. Now, you really have to decide when you want to start pking and how much time you want to put into this account. If you wana get some really high str, don't worry about it. Just start cannoning slayer tasks to get range levels, and use mage spells to help, or even just run around smashing things with maul. Doing this to 55 slayer only takes about a week or so normally and will get you a pretty good range level of around 50-70 range. After you have your 55 slayer grab a slayer staff and start botting the fuck out of the account on rock crabs using the best gear you can afford with the slayer staff. I would recommend usng slayer staff, fury, bring, best gloves you can get, if not jus use a cb brace, and then climbers. If you plan on getting prayer, which most people tend to do to protect Zerker neck so that they can skull fight, then just get a firecape aswell, your range should be plenty high. Slayer staff is 100% worth it on any obby account, because it gives you almost twice as faster training, and much better pking ability. Also a great thing to think about, I would suggest getting at least 5 attack. 1 attack 99str obbys still aren't that great, honestly, you hit super fucking hard yeah, but you hit so shitty and so many 0's so constant. The best thing to do, is to just get 20 attack. Usually, you would only see 20 attack on the obby tanks because they need to be able to hit more often, but getting 20 attack on a normal mauler, helps you hit so god damn much more often, making your str actually worth it. I know in 07 there are no vestas, and it sort of conflicts with wanting to get 20 attack just for the better hit advantage, but I promise, if you get 1att-90str, and then u get 20att-90str, you'll understand what I mean. Hope this helped.

also i used all my magic levels to train slay you will still need to do some melee but it will be alot less

finally one small favor gives lamps that give substantial exp to a skill over 30 (slayer)

Slayer staff > Rune knifes > Obby maul.
