November 14, 201312 yr I was just wondering if it would be safe to run OSbot overnight on my laptop overnight. Not because I'm worried about getting banned or anything, but because I am unsure if it will be harmful or not to my laptop.
November 14, 201312 yr I run bots 24/7 with my laptop. Just don't let it over heat. Over night will be fine. Long term it'll wear out your battery and you'll need to buy a new one.
November 14, 201312 yr either get a decent or cheap cooling pad or get a small fan and point it at your laptop. make sure the vents have space to breath and are clean at all times.. & Your good
November 14, 201312 yr tbh, just get a 1GB VPS and you'll be fine. won't need to keep your laptop on then
November 14, 201312 yr mhmmmmm i used my school mac and i ended up having to pay $200 for tech.. most likely because i ran overnight everynight
November 14, 201312 yr I've been botting overnight for 2 years on the laptop that the school makes us purchase. Nothing has ever gone wrong. I just keep it on a desk and well ventilated, not clogged by anything and it works fine!
November 14, 201312 yr Author Thank you everyone for all the good information. (: I've been waiting on a cooling pad for a week or so.
November 14, 201312 yr Author Ya, thats what I do man, your safe. Cool, thanks! Happy botting to you, sir.
November 14, 201312 yr Of course you can run your bots on your laptop. Just leave the laptop on the charger, and unplug your battery. Otherwise the capacity of your battery will decrease. Don't worry about overheat. Your operating system probably will shutdown when the laptop gets too warm. Edited November 14, 201312 yr by Someluser

November 15, 201312 yr shouldn't be a problem, try not to put it under any sheets or anything and if possible make the fan face up so the screen is on the bottom, gives it better air and have a fan on the fan in the laptop, or on the battery ive found that makes it close to flawless
