here's the gist of it: must start merlin's crystal, not finish it

you can trap this guy and kill him over and over without him dying.

he essentially has infinite health. the only exception is that you have to click again, can't exactly afk unless someone makes a bot for this *HINT HINT**** ;D

but this obviously isn't for everyone, not low level 1 defence pures, not high level people who have already completed the quest. sorry guys

but if you're in between, this ain't too bad of a spot

i feel a script for this would be substantial: no mod is going to check there, not sure if randoms occur there, he's easy to hit, he doesnt hit much, you can range or mage him, xp is ordinary, xp/h? idk. no safespots sorry
