A Script System Similar To Simba

Featured Replies

I'm sure that if a particular script causes a significant change in the runescape economy then the mods/admins would do something about it.

Yeah but why let it get to that point?

The script developers choose if they want to make their script accessable for the public or not.

They decide if they want something back for their hard work, or if they only want a few users to use it.

I think this should not be based on loyalty, it would be weird if we, the team, instead of the script developer, says you can or can't download a specific script.

The script developers, they choose how they want to release there script.

Raflesia brings up a good point. Another option would be to add an option on script release threads as to who can see the relase thread.

Example:

If I want to release a perfect flax picker but only want people who have contributed somewhat to the community I would mark that only users that have 100+ posts can see the thread.

Or...

Create a seperate forum section that only users with a certain amount of contribution can see, and have scripters release advanced scripts in that section.

Just an idea.

I personally disagree, the more scripters who aren't much experienced, will just cause problems by flooding the programming support section, it was like this in rsbuddy for a while until many gave up.

I agree with you, and disagree with this thread. I was one of those who unfortunately gave up.
