dedicated cpu: 4 cpu

storage : 90 gb

Maybe less if your CPU cores are shared.

I ran 8 bots on a 2gb ram vps

Listen mate your VPS is going to get suspended before you reach 8, for high CPU use.

3-4 Definite,  reason being it's a VPS it's in a shared environment you can't run a ton of bots because you'll use a high CPU load which will get your VPS suspended, check your provider TOS also.

For running a large amount best thing is to do is buy a dedicated server.
