What computer to get?

Featured Replies

I need some recommendations:

I would like a computer where I can bot up to 5 bots and always do school related things. :)

i recommend an 9 gb ram to run 5 bots.

1.8GB per client, that's way too much.

512mb/bot is probably the max you'd need, I bet you could get away with 256-512/client.

thanks for replying to my answer but 725mb/bot is so slow you wont be able to open the script loader than how about 512mb/bot lol.

Using 321MB no problem... you're numbers are very off.

How about go run an script right now and check your task manager to see how much RAM it's actually using, what do you see?

Yup. You're using only 239MB of RAM. No idea where you're getting 1.8GB/client from or your 725MB just for the script loader (makes absolutely no sense!), that is way too much.

The thread is about him building/buying a computer, but what would a VPS change?

RAM is RAM, requirements would be same.

Running 2 bots 500mb ram for both.

What's your budget and country?

budget is going to be the biggest issue but for botting id recommend something like an i5 with 6-8gb ram(its so cheap you may as well just get more than you need) those really are the main things your going to be worried about for botting, if you can afford it in your budget get an ssd to set as your boot drive and get a secondary hdd for your data.  Wont need a very expensive gpu.
