Do 50 push ups and 50 sit ups a day.

 

Is 4 the maximum you can literally do? Or rather instead of just doing 4 a day push yourself and keep going until your arm just wont lift anymore. 

5 Minute break or do some sit ups and then try again. This will help to improve your strength to kick that target of 30 as 4 a day is probably doing shit all, no offence.

As I stated I am building up each week this weeks 4 each day next is 5 then 6, then 7 all the way to 30+ each day. Also 4 is not the max I ca do about 12-15 Is my max however last time I did this I injured my arm/neck that is why I am building up the way I am. Right now it might be easy but it will keep getting harder and harder.

If you hurt yourself it was probably your technique was wrong or something.

I know as i only use to be able to do about 5/6 push ups in a row however i went to the gym for 2months and i can now do 22 in a row, so you'll feel a bigger difference by pushing yourself rather than setting a low target.

Can you not read????? I did not say im doing 4 a day for the next 7 months? I said im going up by 1 each week? this weeks 4 next is 5 and so on. Just as I told others thanks for your advice however check back here in 7 months and then we will talk.

So your aim is to take 30 weeks(7months) to go from 4-30 pull ups...

Wouldn't you rather push yourself and get that done in 2/3max..

No because of my car wreck I cannot use my left hand veruy much and if I over do it then I will mess up my left arm even more, or run the risk of hurting my right arm then I could not reslly do anything as i cant use my left hand for fine moter skills.

 

I agree with Aza, you already said you could do 12. You might aswel push yourself no point doing less.

Training to failure is training for failure, it's simply not optimal.

Didn't realise you had a problem with your hand, i guess you shouldn't push it to the max then.

HOWEVER next week instead of doing 5 skip straight to 6/7!
