Wtf 30 push-ups is easy AS FUCK.

LOL IKR. If you cant do 30, you need to hit the gym. I can stil do 30 even after an hour of working out on arm day. LAWL

try doing it mostly with 1 hand then tell me how easy it is.

You wont be able to do 30 Pullups with a correct form within 7 Months. You maybe be able to do 30 chinups within this time but never Pullups.

Even if you weight like 40 Kg

check back in 7 months

30 1 hand pushups, completely doable. Im not sure how out of shape most of you guys are but that's not too terrible. It is difficult, but definitely doable. Although 30 1 hand pushups has nothing to do with what anyone was talking about.

the point I was getting at Is i have 1 hand that I cant use very well at a;ll from my wreck so its like I am doing a 1 arm pushup. I had to give up doing the pushups however due to them starting to hurt my wrist that I cant use very well.

Ever try to do pushups on your fists instead of flat handed?

that would hurt my wrist even more.

No lie I could only do 10 but I got to 30 in like a week

do 8 push ups, 5 (hands close together) and 3 (regular push ups) every time a commercial comes on. do this for at least 3-5 commercial breaks

next day add +1 to each until you get to 30 total

now try to 30 push ups and theyll be easy as shit you'll probably do like 50 in a row (regular)

work your triceps out to by going to your bed, lay your back towards the frame, lift up your upper body with your arms (while facing away) and jeep your legs straight and don't use them (if you still don't understand search triceps dips)

hope i helped man.

people are funny 30 push ups are simple, 30 pull ups are hard, i can only do about 20 and i bench 235 but im about 190 pounds so a bit chunky

I can do like 60-70 push ups max, but only like 15 pull ups at once without stopping

If this is true you can be a Navy SEAL... $40,000 bonus bro...

i can do 50 pushups under 2 mins EASILY. Make sure you keep your chin UP, while doing pushups. helps alot. Also stretch your arms, drink water and eat a meal before you workout. Food + Water = Energy.

Ya'll need exercise first... if you can't do 10 pushups then you need to get off the computer and go outside... lol

US Special forces are encouraged to be able to do 80 pushups (in 2 mins), 20 pullups (no time limit), around 100 - 120 sit ups (2 mins), swim 1000 meters (sidestroke preferred any time), and run up to 5 miles (no limit, but don't walk).

The physical test is only like 54 pushups, 10 pullups, 57 situps, 500m swim (10 laps in under 10:00), and 1.5 mile run in under 12:30. But the test is administered after bootcamp, meaning you're exhausted, and the training requires substantially more then the test. For this reason they make you do the above so that you can meet the minimum testing standards 'on a bad day'. Additionally day 2 or 3 of SEAL training candidates have to run 4 miles or get dropped, so the 1.5 mile minimum is a bit redundant. Only someone who can jog at least 5 miles can push themselves to finish the intense running of the first few days.

Anyways, it sounds like 70 pushups guy is close to special forces qualified.. only about a week of training away from having the level of fitness they want before they send contracted SEALS to boot. I wasn't kidding, sign up.. they make so much money and have such insane benefits... you literally just have to survive an insane work-out for $40,000.

Yes this is kind of true.

As a Marine I have tough standards as well.

All of the exercises you listed above are easily achievable. Let me break this down for you and future posters:

#1. Marine training is still tougher than the above.

I am what they call a "POG", which means "personnel other than grunt"... So non-infantry.

#2. My job is in the air wing. As of the new year, Marines are in peacetime.

My physical requirements are still of higher standards than the above.

#3. Fat airmen in the Navy can do 70 pushups just as easily as myself.

^

My standards:

PFT (Physical fitness test): 20 pullups, 100 perfect form crunches in 2 minutes, 3 mile run in 18 minutes.

CFT (Combat fitness test): **100 ammo can lifts in 2 minutes, 880m sprint in 2:45, movement to contact in 2:15 (google it).

**35 pound ammo can, lift from below chin on chest, extend fully above head with arms locked out, back down below chin.

Even though pushups are not a part of any required fitness test, I still challenge myself. We do a 5 minute challenge. How many can you do in 5 minutes. My record is 196.

For real though....
