What I have and how can I improve?

Featured Replies

I do not know much about computers compared to most people on this website.

I took a screenie of my current system and wanted to see what people thought and if there's any parts I can buy or anything I can do to upgrade it, make it run faster, and run more bots.

Its a laptop

All you can really change on a laptop is RAM and Hard Drive.

You already have 6GB of RAM which should be plenty for anything you do, so not much you can really upgrade.

Honestly there isn't much you can do to a laptop. You may be able to find some RAM at BestBuy, or online. The problem is opening up that compact computer and installing it correctly, THAT IS IF IT IS COMPATIBLE!

Sucks I can only run 2 bots at a time :/ Its a shame because I spent about 800$ on this computer a few years ago.

Four codes and 2.4Ghz should be able to run at least 4 bots.....

Open your task manager and show us how much each bot is using up etc.

It just seems really odd/high to me that each bot is taking up 35-37% of your CPU. Try toggling the low CPU option (if you haven't already).

Also try right clicking the 'javaw'(s) in your task manager, and changing their priority to low/very low etc.

I changed them to low priority and CPU usage dropped to right about 45-50%

Are you saying you overall CPU usage dropped to 45-50%? If so, that's about 30% less than before, so awesome!

Yes I am :) but the FPS of the two bots dropped from 40-50 to 6-7. I'm not sure if the drop in FPS on the bots is worth being able to run a 3rd account.

DO appreciate the help very much though
