Let's go a little bit deeper...

I have been listening to the artist, Twenty One Pilots. All of their songs have a much deeper meaning than what is heard. One thing I like to do is figure out what the hell they are talking about. A couple of songs that I have figured out, without a simple google search: Taxi Cab, Guns for Hands, Isle of Flightless Birds. (All created by Twenty One Pilots). A song that I am currently working on, is... Forest - Twenty One Pilots. Post your own reactions, phycologically explanations. There are many different ways to interpert a song, and if you go into it trying to find something, for example a reference to drugs, you will find it..

I want people to think deeply about what this song/songs mean to them.

Very nice thread, personally I think it's someone who has the personality disorder called "borderline".
They are struggling knowing why they're here, who they are, the 'how' and 'why' questions.

However they do have mood swings and can be happy and enthoustiac too so that's why they'll go in the forest and have fun, but then again it goes back to "I don't want to be heard but listened to".
It's a wonderful piece of music, thank you for letting me discover this.

Ha these are so funky. Such a cool-ass voice.

But to the point, the chorus, perhaps pointing to the variety of life yet the inter connectedness that we all experience, "we'll sing a chorus, one that everybody knows,.....singing songs that nobody wrote."

we all know it, yet nobody wrote it.
