NEED JAVA HELP!

Featured Replies

Hey guys. This isn't really about OSbot but Java in general. Sorry if it does not belong.

So, today I installed the latest Java and whenever I load up Runescape (or any other Java based web apps), I get a certificate error message. There is nothing I can find to help me.

Could someone who knows stuff about Java help me with the issue? Thanks!

Something with your anti-virus.

No.... This is a new computer and I have not bought anti-virus software yet. Well, not that new. But I still don't have any anti-virus... :(

Check your firewall settings to see if they are blocking access to Runescape (this is rare but possible).

It isn't just RS that is being blocked! It is anything that runs the Java web-plugin :/

I still think it's your firewall, check those settings tongue.png

also, what browser are you using?

if you want, I can try yo see if I resolve it, but since i don't have a rank idk if you'd trust me so you might want to ask someone of the staff team instead :p

I suggest checking any Java related forums. Not sure if Oracle has their own. If you can't find anything, then just downgrade your Java for the time being until Oracle fixes it.
