How to use paths

Featured Replies

Maxi posted this code:

static List<Position> path = new LinkedList<>(); static {    path.add(new Position(3222, 3222, 0));    path.add(new Position(3222, 3223, 0));    path.add(new Position(3222, 3224, 0));       path.add(new Position(3223, 3224, 0));    path.add(new Position(3223, 3225, 0));         construct(path);   } public void construct(List<Position> path) {    for (int i = 0; i < path.size(); i++) {        Position global  = path.get(i);        global = new Position(global.getX() - client.getMapBaseX(), global.getY() - client.getMapBaseY(), global.getZ();    }}

And then Laz posted saying this:

Don't use Maxi's construct method. I don't think he noticed the huge bug it has lol. Just define a list of points.

My problem is that nothing happens when I use this without the construct method

Here's my code:

static List<Position> path = new LinkedList<>();	static {		path.add(new Position(2945, 3368, 0));		path.add(new Position(2945, 3374, 0));		path.add(new Position(2942, 3374, 0));		path.add(new Position(2942, 3372, 0));		path.add(new Position(2940, 3370, 0));		path.add(new Position(2940, 3368, 0));		path.add(new Position(2940, 3365, 0));		path.add(new Position(2939, 3362, 0));		path.add(new Position(2939, 3359, 0));		path.add(new Position(2938, 3356, 0));		path.add(new Position(2936, 3355, 0));	}

And in the loop I have:

walk(path, true, 10, false);

I tried the construct and there were errors

for now im using myX & myY to get by. if you set it out correctly it will work for walking large distances. :)
