This was about the PvP being dead is it not? The game itself isn' completely dead but the PvP in 2007 RS is very much dead at night. There is quite a bit of action at peak times mid-day in the wilderness but other than that goodluck.

Unfortunately that's just part of the game these days. 

People are busy now, school & college, etc.

 

And the people that are online are more than likely training for GWD or botting for $$.

 

When GWD is re-introduced I think PVP will increase.

You forgot about those who also work, if they aren't in either of those. The game has come a long way from 100,000+ players online daily to under 100,000 combined 07 and Rs3. It's no doubt the game has been on a steady decline for a really long time, but 2007 Runescape is at least something for all of the old school players to come to. I don't see it ever re-gaining popularity, as Runescape itself has become a dreaded name in the gaming community. There is only 150 people on each server, sometimes almost 200. In 2007 there was 1000+ on half of the worlds.

 

Game is already dead.... Or at least has been dying out slowly but surely.... since 2009....

I dont even know why people play if they arent going to pk. The only reason I ever bot is for combat skills, or for more money which I use to pk with.

i think i read somewhere that theyre considering adding f2p, if that happens osrs will have more players, and more people will buy memberships.

what happened to the pvp being full of anxious rushers pjers and simply the 1v1 pkers. seems to be dead to me.. there was 40k people now if your lucky theres close to 20k on a good day. What would bring pkers to r.s will anything or is it just time.

Isn't world 2 like the only pk world?

PvP isn't dead m8. Its only going to get better with the new updates.
