Use of Authed Emails

Featured Replies

I have been doing some testing of Jagex bot detection/ban system over the last couple of weeks by suicide botting different accounts.
Out of my 10 trialed accounts all of the ones created on unauthenticated emails have been banned whereas the accounts that were created with real emails all remain. They have run for the same duration and all been doing the same tasks.
Anyone else experienced the same?

Authing email doesn't do much on p2p. As for f2p, I can't say much.

I actually posted a similar topic not too long ago

Seems like most are saying it doesn't make a difference. I have yet to try it out so i'll do that soon and let you know.

I can confirm that I experienced the same thing.
