Stuck on "loading Remote Scripts" PLEASE HELP!

Featured Replies

On my Linux VPS the client loads up fine, but when I hit the green + (this creates a tab where you can run scripts) nothing happens! in The bottom box the most recent thing it says is "Loading Remote Scripts..." I have updated my java and it still is broken!

If a mod could TeamView with me that would be very helpful!

Does the client have ample permissions? IE: Is not being blocked by any firewall and is being run with administrative privileges? The most common errors I can think of when dealing with being stuck making an outward connection is: the outgoing connection being blocked for security, the incoming connection being blocked for security, or a poor connection to the site/server.

Is your internet particularly slow? If so, try resetting your router to attempt to speed it up, or stop any background downloads/torrents you have going. Otherwise, make sure to turn off firewalls/allow OSBot AND Java through the firewall.

Try updating your java first, then take all the scripts out of your scripts folder. Seeing that it is stuck on loading remote scripts, you may have a broken or old script in your folder. Just take all of them out and see if it loads.

Someone else I tried helping via TeamViewer earlier had the same problem. I tried, but I couldn't fix it.

I think there maybe an issue with the new download link because it was fine before. :/

You can always try deleting all of the OSBot files and re-downloading them again. That might work.

As stated in my post, I have already update java. I also just deleted everything OSBot related on the VPS and re-installed OSBot and it still gets stuck there.

Are you placing the scripts in the scripts folder found at "C:\users\YOURUSER\OSBot\" ?

You cannot move the OSBot folder to somewhere else on your PC and expect it to still work.

And once again : you have the latest JDK, right?

I just cleared everything and downloaded a fresh copy of OSBot. This is a Linux VPS, so there is no "C:\users\YOURUSER\OSBot\", it is simply "root/OSBot"I have no scripts, I havn't moved any folders. I also have the latest JDK. What do you mean "Once again"? You never mentioned that.
