OSBot Account Selector randomly selecting windows

Featured Replies

Hi everyone,

This is my first post, I ran into a problem while setting up my bots and I am hoping that someone can assist me.

The way I have set things up is:
-I created several .exe file copies from the official osrs client so that I can set different proxy rules with Proxifier
-I am using the batch file that I found somewhere in old threads that starts several windows at once to prevent to 2 session maximum set up by osrs. I modified it slightly to work with my local exe files

I start up the OSBot client and I choose to add a bot. At that point the OSBot client randomly selects one of the four clients I have open regardless of which account is logged in there (or not logged in for that matter). I can't proceed this way since I am trying to keep each account on a unique proxy.

Is there any way that I can prevent it from randomly choosing a window since I cannot get it to select the correct window in any way.

Thank you in advance to everyone.

Open one instance of Runescape at a time and start OSBot individually.

I have to start them at once because of the 2 session maximum set up by the osrs client.
If I opened them one by one I could not use more than 2 bots at a time.

Do you have a potential workaround for this?

Thanks

Run the clients inside separate virtual machines, you won't have to start them all at once as this bypasses the session limit

Yes, I was thinking about this but I'm worried it might stretch my hardware thin.

Do you use this method? I suppose that I would have to run Windows on each VM?

Thank you for your help

Nah, I don't use mirror mode myself, but that would require either windows or os x to run the official client

Don't know if it still works but try changing your random.dat file to read only.
Press windows key and then type "random.dat", right click it and open file location.

That sounds like a lot of RAM :)

I'll see what I can do, but I should be able to run 2 VMs parallel because 6 bots is all I will need at this time

Just checked it, it's already in Read-only :(
