Are you ok?

Featured Replies

Today in Australia it's considered to be National 'Are U Ok Day'. This day means if you have a close friend or just someone you've seen having a little trouble or pain, you can help them by simply asking 'Are you ok'. This may seem like nothing to you however it can influences peoples lives greatly and even give them a spark to get back up and try to see a happier side to life.

So what I propose is that even though it's not being celebrated where you are that you could do this. Try and strike a conversation, it means alot to know people to know that they have a support system or just someone to talk to.

Thanks, MD.

Love this idea and holiday!

Having someone to talk to about your problems and vent to is extremely helpful (in my experience and what I have heard).

Do people in Australia have issues?

Everyone has issues no matter how in touch with life you're.

What I meant, is there a lot of people in Aus that have issues for them to create a day like this?

No I believe that as a nation we are alot more friendlier to one another for example everytime I walk my dog I can confidently say hello to anyone that walks by. I'm not sure if that's the same anywhere else. Good question but no I don't believe we have any more issues than anyone else.
