The activity my bot does is spinning flax. That's a really highy monitored activity, so I'd definitely be looking at using 1 per bot. The only thing they'll do is avoid chain bans though, doesn't change how highly monitored it is. Otherwise, usually you can get away with using 1 proxy for every 3 or so accounts.
