AMD has been killing it these past 2 years. I recently bought a Threadripper 2 2950X, and I wouldn't trade it for any Intel-equivalent CPU.

Highly recommend anyone to look into AMD, even stocks, they're doing big, BIG things.

I'm a fan of AMD, they are the king of price/performance. AMD is kicking obvious ass in the CPU department, Intel had to respond to the EPYC and Threadripper SKUs with the i9s and they were proved to be marginally better for an exponential cost increase. I doubt AMD will ever beat Nvidia in the future, but keeping them on their toes is great for consumers.
