Tupac = Overrated

Featured Replies

agreed I like Em, I've actually not listened to much of Tupacs music, I'm not into your typical 'look how many guns I shoot & hoes I slap' I'm more into rap with meaning, Witch Em gives a lot of with that gangster twist.

The best Example of the music I like are Artists such as Knowmads, For those who know them, Tom Pepe is a very inspirational guy, Youtube them smile.png

Tupac was mostly music with meaning and make changes for the better, look up Thugz Mansion, Me against the world, changes, brenda's got a baby, etc..he made a lot of songs with meaning.

Tupac was the only rapper who was smart and made good with his fame and the chances he got, he was in a position of great power and influence and delivered, made tons of songs influencing others for the good and some good hype songs like hit em up and fame. This is why he's the best selling artist of all time.

And the most important thing: he worked hard to get where he was at, look at all the music he had, he wrote poetry and read books. He's someone I can relate to, someone who made it from nothing and came up to something great, he didn't just talk about what everyone was talking about, he spoke what was on his mind, sometimes girls, sometimes police, etc. He wasn't some teen who got lucky with a record deal and made shitty records.

Compare Tupac lyrics to Lil Wayne and you'll understand me.

Lastly, he was a good person in general, helped out everyone in his family and made sure everyone was straight, he made charities for the ghetto and would perform for free there which you can find videos of, watch Tupac Resurrection and you'd understand him better, a lot of people say stuff thinking he's just a straight thug.

In my personal opinion, I believe he isn't the single best, but can be a contender for that title. There is no single best rapper of all time, but many that had many qualities of someone who would be labeled so.
