Question about Legends quest

I'm currently making a low prayer zerk and i want to get the ardy cape 4, however this requires the legends quest and legends requires 42 prayer to bless the bowl, i know i can boost up to 42 with ancient mace spec and dummy. BUT another slice of ham itself requires 25 and i really want to stay at 15-16. any ideas if its possible to bypass this?
