It's probably the way to go if you don't have any others to run the raids with.

thats why i made this post, to see if anyone would take me on a raid and show me the ropes, thanks for the replies.

I don’t know but I can never get into raids so I’m down if you want to run some. 

theres discord channel where people help to learn raids. Called "we do raids" or something, look it up
