Might be obvious to most of you but, how do you-all create new accounts, what e-mail (provider) do you use and do you make up a random gen name?

Just use your brain and smash the keyboard for a name. I am using just the regular emails like everyone.

Most email services require phone numbers, any tips?

Use mail.com, you can use a free VPN or just make them on your home router. You don't NEED to verify emails, but they can lock the account, and if you don't have a verified email the account is gone forever. (usually occurs when you log in from other IPs)

I've been using my own domains mail server. It is cheap and easy to setup.
