Do I need to update my cpu or bot

Featured Replies

I currently run  a X'ing bot that runs about 25% cpu per client, my cpu is a i5 4690k. Thanks

(if its in the wrong forum please move it to the correct one)

Really vague question.

If your plan is to continue running 1 bot (25% CPU), you're fine.
You can a max of about 3, maybe 4 bots. (25% * 4 = 100% CPU).

So if your plan is to run 4+ bots smoothly, then yes you will need more computing power.

I am definitely planning on running about 6 but the main part is should my cpu be working better than it is?

Different scripts take up different amount of resources based on how well they are written.
Try running a few other scripts, see if they take up more/less than 25% CPU.
If they take a lot less, see if you can get your script optimized better.

Search up threads for settings you may be able to adjust in OSBot to lower CPU usage.
OSBot has a 'low CPU mode' option, try that.

Alright thank you any reccomendations on cpu's for running about 6 bots, and a virtual box or 2

I use 4 clients on an A8-5500 cpu, interesting since I think mine is weaker
