Quashed vs expired ban

Featured Replies

Is there any differnce botting on an acc with a quashed ban compared to an expired ban?

Don't think so

I think they're more or less the same, expired bans are for minor incidents that Jagex feel happened long enough ago to 'forgive' whereas quashed bans are for:

  1. The offence was over 12 months ago and it's minor enough for us to consider it "spent".
  2. We have made a mistake and the offence wasn't committed, or we feel we have been too harsh.
  3. The offence was committed but we can now see that the owner was not in control of the account.

the whole minor ban thing appears both in relation to expired bans and quashed bans, I think quashed bans are more there for the last two situations

Yeah that's what I thought. I wonder if anyone actually tested it.

I recently got my account back which i did a road to max zerker onto. it got banned half a year ago because i got scammed by someone on this forum, and i tried a few weeks ago saying it was hacked (ban was on his ip). so i got it back :)

i got an old quashed acc back that was rollbacked alot, botted alot on it for 1.5 months and it ended up being just a 3 day temp ban. so for me it got treated as a first time ban even tho ive had 2 bot bans before that
