Automating rsbot

Featured Replies

I spent the week using Sikuli to automate osbot to log in to an account, walk to lumbridge using a f2p script, end the script and switch to juggles aio fighter, fight cows for an hour, end the script, then walk to the barbarian village to powerfish for an hour using another script.

from here it would have been an easy task to make the bot switch between these activities at random within an 8 hour window every day, then log off. This is the kind of activity that only real players do, and I expect it would have a super low ban rate.

The ultimate goal of this is to automate an account so that it constantly switches tasks randomly at set intervals, gains experience in all skills, does quests, and basically becomes a full blown main account without any manual work done to it.

the problem is that Sikuli is super old. I lost most of my progress because it fails to create/open save files properly, and the devs have not touched the project in years. In addition to this, sikuli is brittle as the script would fail if a window pops up unexpectedly or fails to appear.

These accounts could become mains or PK pures and be sold for lots of money, while also making GP to be extracted. I think that people buying mains is going to increase soon as OSRS will be coming to mobile, and many people will be returning for the nostalgia.

I want to ditch sikuli and find a better method. I was wondering if anyone had any clever ideas or was willing to work with me on this endeavor.

use cli and cmd comands to kill your bot and restart it with the right script.

Before you invest anymore time, actually just grab one account and bot with the desired scripts you want by hand and see if it's even worth all the effort.

Thanks @Slawa it seems like that is the best route.

@Antonio Kala I'll be sure to vet all of the scripts before I use them! i've noticed that some free scripts are broken atm. As for the effort, this is something that interests me so i don't mind putting in some effort. If i see success with this i will probably invest in paid and private scripts.
