T H C Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 I currently use the program "Psiphon 3". It hides my IP while I'm connected but how well does it keep me secured when botting? I don't know too much about VPN's so if anyone could give me their 2 cents that'd be great
YoHoJo Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 VPNs typically assign you a random IP address from their pool of IPs.Each time you use it, you may get a different IP address, which may look suspicious, and even lead to a locked/suspected as stolen account. If you're just botting 1 or 2 accounts, maybe you can get away with using a VPN, and choosing same location each time.Usually you want a dedicated SOCKS proxy, so your IP doesn't keep changing.

Woz Posted October 12, 2017 Posted October 12, 2017 If you're using a popular VPN service, it's going to do you more harm than good. The IP pools are shared with a huge amount of users, and it's likely that plenty of people have recently used the same IP for botting RS.
