gregg928 Posted September 27, 2017 Posted September 27, 2017 Does anybody use Excel application? I installed it yesterday. Tried to open .xlsx extension document which was e-mailed to me.But the document showing a warning message "Unknown format." Is there another way to open this doc?

What version of excel are you running? Maybe the workbook is corrupted? You could try: File -> Open In the Open dialog box select the corrupted workbook. Click the arrow next to the Open button and click Open and Repair Edited September 27, 2017 by Explv
almenezes Posted September 28, 2017 Posted September 28, 2017 Have you tried using Open Office? There are also plenty of other word-processing programs that can work with Word files (e.g. XLSX Viewer Tool , LibreOffice).
