Bot Busting (Moderate)

This is the first time I've received a ban of this type, usually it is "Macro Major (Permanent)" or something of that sort. It is a two day ban. What does this mean? I was using Perfect Magic and an offsite Green Dragon script, I'm thinking it was Perfect Magic because of how easy it is to detect something like that. All my other scripts never got me banned.

Green dragon bots are probably the most banned script there is. And what do you mean how easy it is to detect magic? The more simple a script is the harder it is to detect usually..

How long did you bot magic vs how long did you bot dragons :)

I got the same thing. First time botting on the account, too. Using AIO Construction for an hour, then had a break, then 2 hours, then stopped.

Should I now hold off botting for a little while, or can I crack back onto it when the 2 day ban is lifted but just use a different script?

The thing is though, people usually blame a script that is either good "I.e. Perfect Magic, or AIO construction" but sometimes Jamflex issues delayed bans. So think of your previous scripts or habits before pegging the blame on the script you used last.

My comment wasn't meant to seem as if I was blaming the script, just included what script it was because I know it's usually flawless and seems to have a low ban-rate. :) Just wanted advice whether I should hold off botting for a while, or try to go back into it with more legit playing in between botting or something? :)

Obviously we should all know the risks involved with botting!

If you've gotten a 2 day ban, and get caught botting again withing the first year I belive it's a perm ban. As the 2 day ban is a warning that'll last for a year.

If it's an account you care about, probably not. If you get caught again, it will be a permanent ban instead of a slap on the wrist.

Okay, thanks guys. Guess it's back to legit playing until I get bored of this account and don't care about it getting perma banned. :gnome:

The cycle of life and death continues

I have very high level accounts running Excellent Dragons they've been running for a few weeks for 2-6 hrs per day and I haven't had any bans....

Bans depend on so many factors
