An artist on reddit, I reached out to him to see if he will be willing to do more, but last I talked to him he has moved on from toons.

No something else and doesn't have to be paint a majority of artists that do these normally found it easier to be made in paint. All my old references have moved on sadly so don't have the contacts I use to get these made.
