Who the fuck is Dexter talking to when he talks to "Harry" and "Brian"? I use the quotes because they are both dead. Harry and Brian seem to think logically when speaking with Dexter. I keep thinking it is Dexter's own mind, but who's mind thinks logically on both ends?

That's what I thought, but it is weird how he is able to have a conversation with those people as if they knew how they think.

yeah i agree with Master Chief. his mind for those moments split off from the world and the world continues before his eyes

Perhaps that's not how they think, from what we know of Rudy/Brian, that's what Dexter knows, so it seems like when Dexter talks to him, he knows how Brian thinks. 

I guess that is the case.

Its his dark passenger, when harry appears hes fighting against his own urges vs the set in stone code harry and the doctor created. When Brian appears its basically his dark passenger taking over as seen when he killed that man in the shed  when going to kill trinitys son.
