No matter who pays fees there's still going to pay fees so if the buyer pays fees realisticly hes no longer paying 1$/m so your theory is great.

how much do you think paypal fees are? family and friends are usually free but if you was to pay fee's for me in the uk.

If you buy with for instance euros they add conversion fees which equal to around 1-2 dollars it isn't much that's why not many people deal with paypal and including the charge backs with paypal money back gurantee.
