"Evidence Type: Jagex Moderator Comment"

Featured Replies

So I got a ban on Friday, first time I've been banned in a long time since I haven't played in a long time.

When I go to "Account Status" and "View Evidence" there is what seems to be a personal response from a "Jagex Moderator".

I figured the response would be automated, but it doesn't seem to be.  Does this mean I was banned by an in game mod, or simply that a mod reviewed me after being flagged and confirmed I was botting...?

Care to share what it says?

"Account banned for macroing in OldSchool. Our macro detection system has been monitoring your account closely and has detected that you are using illegal 3rd party software which violates the rules of the game and breaches your terms of service with Jagex. Our team have reviewed the evidence and can confirm that you were using illegal botting software. Jagex are able to accurately detect all illegal 3rd party software and any promises from their makers about being 'totally undetectable' or 'no ban guaranteed' are inaccurate. As such your account has been permanently removed from game. This is not an appealable offence and we will not review it should you contact us by email, ticket or social media. Please take this time to familiarise yourself with the rules should you wish to create another account."

Looks pretty generic but when reading it there's some strange wording.  I imagine you can tell me if its a basic bish reply or not.

Maybe its just cause I'm 'Murican and it was Brit wording?  Idk.  Like: "our team have" our team has...

Lmfao, nah man I've seen this response a couple of times myself. Word for word. I do however, get responses that seem to be more personally written than others. We should all make a collection of all the responses from jagex

Interesting that it says its from a Jagex Mod, but as Tyelr said, this is a generic reply.
