Bot Client Runs Slow? Regular Client Doesn't?

Featured Replies

Looking to get some information on why the bot client lags, but when i play regular runescape, or use a different client.. It doesn't lag? It's like my java isn't using enough memory or something. You can easily tell just by the fire on the side of the log in page. It just "studders".. But on the regular rs client, it doesn't?

# Edit - I've tried the -Xmx512 thing in my java control panel. Still doesn't work. Any suggestions?

Do you have any of the debugg's on? Like the use low CPU option?

You can find this at the icon in the right top, at the gear wheel

To reduce the lag as much as possible take all the debugging things off and hide the log.

I've tried using the low CPU option. It just makes it way more laggy.

Yeah I've tried un-checking all boxes along with hiding the log. Still no luck. Maybe anything else?

ctrl + alt + def (assuming your on a PC, not a mac)

Go to the java process and let it use more CPU. That way it wil run smoother.

Also have you updated to the latest java version?

Tried giving it "High and "Realtime".. Still no results. Java is up to date, no problems there. I know my fair share about computers, I just can't put my finger on why its so laggy?..

Talk about not using enough memory.

Haha

My bot gets up to 700k at some points, boy is that nifty.
