Seraphic Posted February 24, 2017 Posted February 24, 2017 I agree. It could be because your power supply is broken.

Kind of a notable difference, The screen turns into a color (mostly grey or black but can also be blue or white with black strips) and stays like this you can't do anything, if there was sound, there is no sound anymore. I also noticed that if I leave it like this a bit the fans slow down and the computer is more quiet like if it idles. the only way to fix it is to force a restart by long pressing the power button and if this does not work by plug out/in the power supply. 1
Targon Posted March 11, 2017 Posted March 11, 2017 I am very confident that you need a higher PSU. just get like a 750. I recommend something like this https://www.amazon.com/Corsair-CS750M-Modular-Supply-Certified/dp/B00GH9NA0A/ref=sr_1_6?ie=UTF8&qid=1489257227&sr=8-6&keywords=corsair+750w+power+supply It allows you to only plug in the cables that you need so that you don't have to have the extra 20 cables in your case
