So i was wondering why my YouTube video was loading really slowly, so i did a speedtest to see if there was something wrong with my internet. It was normal, and more than capable of streaming a 720p video, since i watch videos in 4k with no problem. After spending some time googling to see if YouTube was experiencing heavy traffic or something, i found a Reddit thread saying that if you replace the www. with ca., your video will load faster, and it did. 

 

Only done this once and idk if it fixes it every time, but wtf is going on?

that's just the Canadian youtube..2imanx0.jpg. don't go to that url unless you want to have to change your youtube back to normal.
